The deficiency in the Omega 3 essential molecule concerns all animals, including Man, and especially Man, in light of his location at the end of the food chain.

VALOREX has therefore developed a special activity that is Human Nutrition oriented, taking advantage of its know-how in processing flaxseed.

As such, over the last few years, VALOREX has developed a range of flaxseed flours that can be incorporated into any food process that uses flour: as a substitute for a portion of the latter but also for a portion of the fat used. The objective for the industry is the formulation of a product or of a range of products that are nutritionally interesting for our organism and with a good taste.

These flaxseed flours, according to the application, also provide the finished product with a hardy aspect, extend its date of minimum durability, make it softer, etc.

The effectiveness of thermo-extrusion allows for a relatively high concentration of Omega-3 in our flours. At above all, these Omerga-3s are can truly be absorbed by our organism: contrary to the consumption of raw or ground flaxseed for example that we are not able to digest.
